Neben .de .es .uk und. it gibt es jetzt auch Amazon.nl Anfangs kann man da wahrscheinlich ganz gute Umsätze machen solange noch wenige Händler dort aktive sind...
Amazon expands to the Netherlands
Dear Seller,

Today, Amazon announced the plan to expand its selection on Amazon.nl later this year. To better serve our customers in the Netherlands, we will start selling physical products on Amazon.nl with more categories available to customers and with selection from both Amazon and Marketplace Sellers. Today, more than half of all items purchased on Amazon globally are sold by Sellers around the world. We are very excited to increase the selection for our online store, Amazon.nl, to create even more opportunities for our Sellers to grow their businesses in the EU.

We are rolling out the new “selling on Amazon.nl” feature to all Sellers across the EU. Shortly, you will see Amazon.nl added as a 6th country option to your EU seller account. (You will see it in the country dropdown in your Seller Central account.) We will inform you once Amazon.nl has been added to your EU seller account.

What does this mean for your business?
• This is a great opportunity to expand your business in the EU. You don’t need to create another account to start selling on Amazon.nl. With one EU seller account, you will be able to sell on all six online stores (Amazon.nl, Amazon.de, Amazon.es, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.it and Amazon.fr).
• If you are on the Professional Seller plan, your monthly subscription fee will not change. Amazon.nl will be covered in your monthly subscription fee.
• You will start to see Amazon.nl in your existing seller account shortly and detailed information about how you can expand your business to Amazon.nl will be shared in the coming days.
You don’t need to take any action at this point. We will provide more details about the launch of Amazon.nl shortly. Please check your emails and Seller Central notifications in the coming days.

Pressemitteilung Amazon.nl
Amazon to expand Amazon.nl later this year
Seller Central now open for selling partners to register their businesses for Amazon.nl

Amsterdam, January 15, 2020 – Today Amazon announced that it plans to expand Amazon.nl by making physical product categories available to Dutch customers later this year. Amazon also announced that selling partners in the Netherlands and around the world can now register their accounts on https://services.amazon.nl in preparation for the launch.

“We are really excited to be launching a more comprehensive shopping experience on Amazon.nl”, said Alex Ootes, Vice President EU Expansion at Amazon. “Selection, value and convenience are the key drivers of our retail experience for Amazon customers and Dutch businesses play a critical role in delivering that. We are pleased to bring the opportunity for Dutch businesses, small and large, to sign up to sell on Amazon.nl and reach a bigger audience, both at home and abroad, increasing the selection available for our Dutch customers.”

More than half of all items purchased on Amazon globally are sold by selling partners around the world. Across Europe, small and medium-sized companies exported over €6.9 billion worth of goods in 2018 by working with Amazon. Amazon invests billions of Euros each year on infrastructure, tools, and services that enable small and medium-sized businesses to reach new customers and successfully sell their products online. Another step for Amazon in the Netherlands

“We are thrilled to take the next step to grow our business in the Netherlands. Today we are announcing that we will expand Amazon.nl later this year, offering our Dutch customers a larger and wider selection of products”, said Roeland Donker, Country Manager Benelux. “We are just getting started, but we are optimistic that by focusing on the things we believe customers will value most – low prices, vast selection and fast delivery – we will earn the trust of customers in the Netherlands over time.”

Amazon has been serving customers in the Netherlands for years. Amazon’s presence in the country goes back to 2013 when Amazon Web Services (AWS) opened its first Development Center in The Hague, followed by an AWS office in 2015. In November 2014, Amazon launched an ebook shop on Amazon.nl. Since 2016, many Dutch-speaking customers have been shopping for physical products on the Dutch language experience on Amazon.de. In 2017, Amazon launched the Prime membership program in the Netherlands. Since then, customers have been able to sign up for Amazon Prime and enjoy fast and free delivery for millions of products, unlimited streaming of Prime Video, access to free games and loot with Twitch Prime and unlimited storage with Amazon Photos. In 2018, Amazon opened a new office in Amsterdam. Since then Dutch-speaking Prime members have also enjoyed thousands of great deals during Prime Day on Amazon.de. In 2018 Amazon also offered the iDeal payment method for the first time.

Ich glaube so ein Hype wird vielleicht garnicht kommen, weil die Holländer bereits in DE bestellen. Wenn dann wird sich der Umsatz von DE nach NL verschieben.

ob sich das überhaupt lohnt? Wir haben nur ganz selten Kunden aus NL, da bestellen selbst die Luxenburger deutlich mehr. :-}
